“Growing Up in Country music” by “Uncle” Bob Hardy as told to Frank Love (Free Download)

Uncle Bob is a fascinating character, having started his broadcasting career in Bloomington, IN and later making his way to Yuma, AZ where he served as a local television hero and beloved professor at Arizona Western College. A close friend of Grand Ole Opry band member Joe Edwards (who produced Hardy’s solo LPs), Bob made his way onto the Opry stage a few times during his years as a performer. This story was dictated to Frank Love—another beloved Yuma figure—who also served as a professor at AWC.
